Christian-Based Bands at the ‘We Do Recover’ Event in Texarkana
Jason Butler, the founder of Recovery Road Productions, invites the Texarkana community to the "We Do Recover" event on Saturday, May 17, at Spring Lake Park.
We Do Recover Event
The event is scheduled from 11 AM to 8 PM. According to the Texarkana Gazette, the money raised through donations is going toward area treatment and recovery centers to help non-profit organizations and support people in our community in need through local recovery programs.
The Mission: We Do Recover
The event will feature several faith-based Christian bands and guest speakers sharing their personal stories that led them towards recovery and sobriety. Butler has been clean and sober for four years, and this event holds a special place in his heart. Jason has been throwing various events in the Texarkana area for more than 12 years, but this one holds special meaning due to his personal experience with drug addiction. His mission is to reach out to someone who might be struggling and give them the hope that there is a road to recovery through faith and love.
Besides live music on the outdoor stage provided by the Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department, food trucks and vendors will be on site.
