Harvest Regional Food Bank in Texarkana will host a large-scale emergency food distribution this Thursday, November 6, 2025.

This distribution will be offering free shelf-stable food boxes to families in need across the Texarkana area. Distributions will take place starting at 8:30 AM and run until 10:30 AM, or until all boxes have been given out.

Four Drive-Through Locations Across Texarkana

To reach as many residents as possible, Harvest plans to operate four drive-through distribution sites on both the Arkansas and Texas sides of Texarkana.

Arkansas:

  • Lifehouse Ministries, 915 East Street, Texarkana, AR
  • Four States Fairgrounds (front parking lot), 3700 East 50th, Texarkana, AR

Texas:

  • Mt. Sinai House of Prayer, 100 Gazola Street, Texarkana, TX
  • First Methodist Church – Summerhill Campus, 5801 Summerhill Drive, Texarkana, TX

Event Details and Participation Guidelines

Each household may receive one food box, and up to two households may be served per vehicle. Participants are asked to remain in their cars as volunteers load boxes directly into vehicles.

Harvest Regional Food Bank is the Feeding America food bank serving Bowie County, Texas, and nine counties in southwest Arkansas. Formed in 1989, Harvest distributes more than four million pounds of food annually to around 100 partner agencies and hosts over 35 mobile pantry distributions in rural areas.
