18-year-old Jamauri Martavious Davis of Texarkana, Arkansas is now in police custody after turning himself in on Tuesday afternoon December 13 at approximately 3 PM.

He was wanted for an active felony warrant for Murder in the 1st degree.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department posted on their Facebook page, the warrant was issued for a shooting that took place in the 2000 block of East 24th Street in Texarkana, Arkansas back on Sunday, December 4. Davis was booked into the Miller County Jail and is now waiting to appear in court.

Back on Sunday, December 4 at approximately 3:28 PM, The Texarkana Arkansas Police were called to the 2000 block of  24th Street  There was a report about a teenager who had been shot. The victim was 19-year-old Keeunta Gilliam. Gilliam, unfortunately, died from his wounds at a local hospital.
