
Arkansas State Police Traffic Stop Leads to 221-Pound Marijuana Seizure
Arkansas State Police (ASP) say a traffic stop near the Arkansas-Oklahoma state line led to the discovery of more than 200 pounds of illegal marijuana and the arrest of an Oklahoma man.
Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery
According to ASP, the incident happened around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, when a Trooper stopped a 2005 Toyota pickup for a traffic violation. During a search of the truck’s bed, Troopers located roughly 221 pounds of marijuana packed inside multiple trash bags.

Driver Arrested, Charges Pending
The driver, identified by authorities as 33-year-old Jeremy Dean Moots of Oklahoma City, was taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Detention Center.
Moots is accused of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
