Kicker 1025 Nominated Again! How to Help Us Win at Arkansas Country Music Awards

We are excited to announce that KKYR Kicker 1025 has been nominated for Radio Station of the Year in the 2026 Arkansas Country Music Awards.

This year marks the second time that Kicker has been nominated; the first time was in 2024. Talk about a wonderful honor. The great part is you will be able to help us win that award. A portion of the process is a voting period of time by our listeners.

Jim and I know how important voting from our listeners, as it goes toward the big win. We were nominated for Best DJ four times from 2020 to 2023 and we finally did win the big honor in 2013!

Mark Your Calendars! Here are The Key Voting Dates for the Arkansas Country Music Awards

You can see all the 2026 nominees at the Arkansas Country Music Awards website at  arkansasmusic.org. You will also be able to vote on the website once the voting phase begins.

Voting will start on March 1st and will run through March 14.

The actual award show will take place on Monday evening, June 1 on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

We will be reminding you when voting begins because to help Kicker win, we need you to vote every day. Don't worry its super easy and will only take a few seconds.
