Arkansas is such a beautiful state and I think it just doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Then without warning, Arkansas makes a 'bad' list from FBI information. This is scary because all of us are vulnerable to this type of crime.

Studyfinds.org published a list from FBI data from  Automatic Technology and they came up with the top 5 states in the country that are most "prone" to home burglaries.

How did they get to this list? They took a look at the number of reported burglaries and the population per 100,000 people from each state and then crunched the numbers.

The state that tops the list is...

The State With the Least Burglaries?

This is a huge difference compared to New Hampshire, the state with the least home burglaries. The report shows New Hampshire with only 73.5 home break-ins per 100,000 people.

The study also told us why these states are so high on the list. Poverty. Most of these states have a high poverty level according to the study except for one, Washington. That state is listed as one of the wealthiest in the country. It seems you just can't win. The only thing you can do is get some type of security to keep your property safe but most of all to keep you and your family safe.
