Get Ready! Texarkana’s Battle of the Bands Returns Sept. 20

Texarkana is gearing up for one of its biggest free community events of the year, "Battle of the Bands" in historic downtown on September 20, 2025.

This FREE event is being presented by Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, Inc., and Recovery Road Productions will feature live music, food trucks, vendors, and more during the all-day and evening event in front of Hopkins Ice House at 302 East 3rd Street.

This exciting, family-friendly event will showcase 10 bands battling for prizes. bragging rights and the chance to claim the title of Battle of the Bands. The party starts at 11 AM and will run until the last band hits the stage.

“It’s all about celebrating local talent, supporting the community, and providing a fun, safe environment for everyone," said Jason Butler, Recovery Road Productions.

This event is a double charitable event, with funds raised to support the programs at Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, Inc., which helps support over 100 individuals with disabilities in our community each year.
