Amber Adams at East Texas Food Bank
Texas A&M University-Texarkanas School of Professional Education and Community Engagement (PECE) is proud to announce that Amber Adams is the Fall 2024 recipient of the PECE Community Leadership Excellence Award. This award is given to individuals who have significantly impacted their communities through service, innovation, and dedication.
Fall 2024 Recipient of the Community Leadership Excellence Award
Amber Adams is a graduate of TAMUT’s Bachelor of Science in Leadership program. She now serves as the Director of Texarkana Engagement at the East Texas Food Bank. As has demonstrated her leadership by fostering partnerships and developing initiatives to fight the food insecurities in East Texas. Her ability to find community-driven solutions reflects PECE’s mission to empower careers and uplift communities.

Amber’s work has touched countless lives, and her commitment to uplifting our community is truly inspiring. As an alumna of our leadership program, Amber represents the very best of what A&M-Texarkana strives to cultivate in its graduates.
The PECE Community Leadership Excellence Award is presented every semester to those individuals who demonstrate their outstanding leadership skills and service.
