It's hard to believe that the 45th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival is really just around the corner. It will be taking place Saturday, August 7. And performing in concert that Saturday night at 8:30PM  is Country artist Phil Vassar! The show will be held on the CMC Stage inside Hope Fair Park. Gates open at 6PM. In June there is a one-day early bird ticket sale.

Phil Vassar dominated the country charts in the early 2000s with 10 number 1 songs including  Just Another Day in Paradise, Six-Pack Summer, When I Love You to name a few. According to a press release he also has received two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies and ACM's Top New Male Vocalist. He has also written songs for Collin Raye, Alan Jackson and Tim McGraw.

There will be a special one-day early bird ticket event on Thursday, June 10 with a discounted general admission ticket price of $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 4-10. These early bird tickets will be sold at the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce from 10AM to 2PM only or online at https://hempsteadhall.thundertix.com/events/186891.

After this one-day sale, advanced general admission tickets for the concert will be $15 for adults; day of show tickets will be $20. Children's tickets will be $6 on the day of the show. All reserved tickets are $40.
