4 Day ‘Concert in Your Car’ Event at Globe Life Field in June

Who is ready for a fun road trip? Pack up your vehicle with friends snacks and drinks and head to GlobeLife Field in Arlington next month for the "Concert in Your Car' Event.

I was wondering who would be the first to do this. Leave it to Texas to do it and do it big.

The Eli Young Band will kick it all off on Thursday,  June 4 then June 5 it's Whiskey Myers. Saturday, June 6 Pat Green takes the stage with the final night June 7 it's the Josh Abbott Band and Kevin Fowler.

Here's how it will work according to the Globe Life Field website, the concerts will take place in the parking lots where there will be room for 400 vehicles spaced out in every other parking space. The concerts will be broadcast on a radio frequency or just roll down your window! There will also be jumbo screens set up.

Concerts will start at 9 p.m. each night.

Tickets are $40 per vehicle, per night.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation to support their ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts.

There will be special VIP packages available where you can be in the first two rows of the parking lot. Those tickets are $80 per vehicle.

Tickets for the Concert in Your Car series will go on sale online only to the general public Friday, May 15 at 10AM at texasrangers.com/concertinyourcar.  Attendees are permitted to bring food and drink in their vehicles.
