The plane that started my love for aviation is here in Texarkana and I'm going to go see her in just a little while at the TAC Air Terminal at Texarkana Regional Airport.

We had three guests in this morning who travel all the time with this beautiful flying museum named "Texas Raiders." Howard Quoyeser, "Laser" Dave McConkey and Nancy Kwiecien came in to tell us all about this amazing aircraft around 7:30 this morning.

If you would like to book a ride on "Texas Raiders," there are spots available for three flights this afternoon and two flights on Wednesday. Call 1-855-Fly-A-B17 for more information or to book your time.

If you would like to stop by and see the plane, tours are available for $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Remember, it takes a lot of money to keep this warbird flying so that many more generations can see up close what it must have been like to fight for their country in such amazingly harsh and brutal conditions.

They're also selling hats and t-shirts so help where you can and keep this baby flying. It's tax deductible by the way.

Visit their website at B17TexasRaiders.org. Listen to the full interview below.
