Leadership Texarkana

The Leadercast program is attended by teams from every sector of our community, annually attracting groups of 2-100 from industry, big and small businesses, healthcare, city government, public and higher education, churches and non-profits.  Leadership Texarkana Executive Director Ruth Ellen Whitt reports “Eighty percent of the available seats have been sold, but we do not want any seat to go unclaimed when there is so much value that will be gained by the individuals and teams in attendance.  Our goal is to provide participants with a first-class event–an outstanding day of instruction, inspiration, and impact for each individual attending.” Registration is $79 and includes lunch, light breakfast, snacks and Leadercast materials.

Although many attend as individuals, local leaders emphasize the value of Leadercast attendance for their teams:  “I bring my entire leadership team–It’s definitely worth the time; Leadercast training has had a huge impact on our whole strategic plan, ” says James Henry Russell, Texarkana College. Paul Norton, Superintendent of TISD says  “The piece of Leadercast that I value the most is having the opportunity to bring colleagues to this event and discuss how each speaker is speaking to us...to share the same vision is invaluable.”   Chris Karam, Pres/CEO of Christus St. Michael System annually brings 100 of his leadership staff.  He says, “I’ve found Leadercast to be an inexpensive way for our leaders to gain insight from national and international leaders on what helps one be successful. Great perspectives are given...Well worth the time and investment.”

This is the eighteenth year of the annual Leadercast leadership conference and the fifth year that Leadership Texarkana will be hosting the event locally, in partnership with Texarkana, TX ISD and Texarkana College this year, and with promotional partner the Texarkana USA Chamber of Commerce. Leadercast 2018 will be held at TISD’s Sullivan Center.  Groups and Leadership Texarkana member discounts are available.  General and SHRM CEUs are available, as are CNEs.
