The 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor came into beautifully clear focus thanks to this man.

Prior to the Seton Hall-Cal basketball game Wednesday at the Pearl Harbor Invitation -- which took place on the base the Japanese attacked three-quarters of a century ago, 97-year-old World War Two veteran Peter DuPre' wowed the crowd with a moving version of the national anthem on the harmonica that will leave you with goose bumps.

This is a brilliantly performed take on "The Star-Spangled Banner" and the crowd gives him a well-deserved round of applause. This member of the greatest generation just put on the greatest rendition.

It may have only been before a college basketball game in December, but this national anthem is up there in terms of how memorable it is. It may not trump Whitney Houston's landmark version before the Super Bowl in 1991, which took place in the shadow of the war in the Persian Gulf. Judge for yourself.
