When Are The Winter Olympics? [POLL]

Are you ready? The Winter Olympics get started this Thursday with the opening ceremonies on Friday NBC. Yeah, kinda weird, right? 

Why do the games start before the opening ceremony? I looked high and low for an answer and I almost chalked it up to those silly Russians.

Then I found it! Thursday night will be early qualifications for some events including Snowboarding and Team Ice Skating. Friday night is the opening ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m.

Okay, count Thursday as a preview. I'm ready!!

I love the Winter Olympics! I love the ice skating and the ski jumping the most, but I do tend to get addicted to all of the events. I also can't wait for the opening ceremonies! It's great to see all the countries come together peacefully. I also love to see the special stories about the hosting country.
