Can you identify what this is? And for bonus credit, can you guess where this photo was taken?

If you guessed that this was a pair of Texas Longhorn cattle, then you are correct! These huge creatures are quite recognizable for their enormous horns, which can extend up to seven feet long for steers and some cows, and up to 80 inches tip to tip for bulls.

But where are these particular longhorns located? Have you ever been to Fort Worth? If so, then you may recognize this pin which is at the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Ever since 1889, this Texas landmark has been home to these amazing animals which descended from cattle brought to the Americas by the Spanish in the late 1400s and early 1500s, according to Double Helix Ranch. Today you can see the Fort Worth herd during the cattle drives that take place twice daily at the stockyards.
