Walk For Life in Texarkana for 1st Choice Pregnancy
The Walk For Life to benefit 1st Choice Pregnancy Resource Center in Texarkana is Saturday, May 3. This will be a fun-filled morning for the entire family including dogs!
1st Choice Pregnancy Resource Center will hold its 15th annual Walk for Life on May 3, 2014, at Spring Lake Park. This year, they have added a 5K Run for Life, so there will be something for everyone throughout the morning. Registration for the 5K is at 7:30 a.m. with the race starting at 8. Sign in for the Walk starts at 8:30 and that event starts at 9:00. There will be plenty of other activities, including a live band, a balloon release, pancakes for purchase, bounce houses, and race awards. This is a family friendly event, so bring the whole household (including your dog). Wagons and strollers are also welcome.
Runners and walkers can register online on First Choice Pregnancy website. There is no fee to walk; runners have a $25 entrance fee. All participants are encouraged to secure supporters, which can be done on-line. Paper pledge forms are also available at the Center at 602 Main Street or by calling (903) 792-5735 or emailing email@example.com.
Visit First Choice Pregnancy on Facebook! Even if you don’t walk or run in this event, please “like” their page and help spread the word to someone who may be in need of these services.
