As another school year gets underway, the U of A Hope/Texarkana has scheduled time for new student orientation.

The fall semester at the University of Arkansas at Hope and Texarkana begins Monday, August 24th.  An orientation for new students has been scheduled for both the Hope and Texarkana campuses to help prepare students for a great semester at UAHT.  The theme for orientation is “Stop, Collaborate and Listen, UAHT is back with some brand new additions.”

The Hope campus orientation will be on Tuesday, August 18, at 8:30 a.m. in Hempstead Hall.  The Texarkana campus orientation is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, at 8:00 a.m. The orientations are designed to allow students to come during these allotted times and leave once they have reviewed the provided information.

New students will be able to meet with their advisors, get their student IDs and parking stickers, rent textbooks, and tour the campuses.  Each new student who attends also will receive a free t-shirt.  U of A Hope-Texarkana will continue to register students for the fall semester until August 24th.

The college faculty and staff are excited about the upcoming semester and look forward to helping each student be successful as he or she pursues a higher educational.  For more information call 870-722-8228 or visit the college website at www.uacch.edu.
