Traffic on Interstate 30 May Be Affected by Construction Work

The Arkansas State Highway & Transportation Department will be installing overhead signs on Interstate 30 overnight tonight weather permitting.The overhead sign will span the eastbound lanes of the Interstate between the Jefferson Avenue and Highway 245 exits. Jefferson and Highway 245 themselves will not be affected.

The project is anticipated to begin around 11:00 p.m. and be completed by 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. Traffic in the eastbound lanes of I-30 may be stopped for short intervals up to 15 minutes.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
