Tony Stewart is 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion

What a race it was in Homestead Florida for the Sprint Cup Championship?  Plagued by weather issues, with multiple caution flags, and a red flag for rain, it was between Tony Stewart, and Carl Edwards to battle it out for the Cup.

In the end it was Tony Stewart to win the race and Carl Edwards finished second, BUT in the Championship points race, they ended up tied at 2,403 points, so it was settled by tie-breaker.  That was decided by wins this season, with the victory in the final Sprint Cup race of the season Tony Stewart has 5 wins this year to Carl Edwards 1 win.

Stewart is now a 3 time NASCAR Cup Champion.  This is his first win as an Owner/Driver.  (I just want to add, congratulations Sluggo, we knew you could do it.)
