Here is something neat the kids can do in our backyard.

President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site and The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope will offer a Junior Ranger Explorer Summer Camp July 29-31. The Junior Ranger Explorer Camp connects young people to their national parks through many hands-on, guided, and self-guided activities. The camp is open for boys and girls 10 – 13 years of age to register to attend this FREE summer camp.

On Tuesday, July 29, the campers will set off and explore Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site and the President William Jefferson Clinton Library and Museum. Wednesday, July 30 campers will explore Hot Springs National Park and President Clinton Birthplace Home in Hope.  Thursday July 31 the students will experience interactive presentations on other National Park Service sites in Arkansas and the camp will with a graduation ceremony on the UACCH campus.

REGISTRATION is limited to the first 36 participants to register. Registration begins on July 14 at 8:30 a.m.  Registration forms will be available July 8 at www.uacch.edu. President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site visitor center is open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. For more information call (870) 777-4455.
