Enjoy the true reason for the Christmas season and experience the live nativity scene.

As the First Assembly of God church holds it's the 3rd Annual Drive Thru Live Nativity Friday December 2 and Saturday December 3 with over 100 people in costume. Plus enjoy hot chocolate and candy canes for the little ones. Children will love seeing the animals including sheep, cows, mules, goats, camels and more.

To add to the fun their events page on Facebook says:

You will be required to take a census and pass your gold coin to the Roman Soldiers in order to gain entrance into the City of Bethlehem. When you drive through the Bethlehem Marketplace, you will feel as if you have stepped back into the pages of the Bible. Your Journey to Jesus will culminate with an awe inspiring scene of our Savior's Birth. All of this is possible without leaving the your vehicle.

This event is open to the public and free.

Over 2,500 people drove through the scene last year and with at times a two hour wait they have made some changes to handle the crowd and cut down on the wait time drastically.

Friday, December 2nd 7PM – 9PM
Saturday, December 3rd 6PM – 9PM

First Assembly of God (The old Lighthouse) is located at 3401 West 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas.
