The first Friday in September means it's time for the annual Texas High versus Arkansas High cross town football game. And we've got your shuttle bus and ticket information -- no matter who you'll be rooting for.All tickets sold to the game must be bought in advance. There will be not tickets sold at the gate. This year's contest is being played at Arkansas High Razorback Stadium.

TISD encourages Texas High fans to get their tickets early for the showdown of the season.

Tickets will be on sale Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, September 1-3 from 8AM to 5PM in the Sullivan Performing Arts Center, 3941 Summerhill Road. Ticket purchases are limited to ten (10) tickets per person.

All tickets are Reserved Seating and cost $7 each  THS Student (high school only) game tickets are available for $3 and can be purchased during lunch periods from Tuesday through Thursday at Texas High School.

Texas High School seniors will hold their annual “Bacon Fry” on Friday, September 4 from 7:45 – 8:20AM in the courtyard of Texas High School.

A breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and orange juice will be served to all THS students as part of the annual football showdown between Texas High and Arkansas High.

Texas Tigers will hold their Texas vs. Arkansas Pep Rally on Friday, September 4 from 2:45 – 3:45PM in Tiger Center. The public is invited to attend.

Due to limited parking available, TISD encourages Texas Tigers fans to use the Tiger Shuttle Bus service to and from Razorback Stadium.

The Shuttle Bus Service is free to all and requires a purchased game ticket for boarding.  Shuttles will leave from the THS Student Parking lot at 4001 Summerhill Road beginning at 6PM.  Seats will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and security will be provided at the parking site during the evening to watch over vehicles and to assist fans with any questions. Return Shuttles will begin at the start of the third quarter.

Texas High fans will go through a security screening upon boarding and will bypass stadium security screening. They will be dropped off at a special South side entrance at Razorback Stadium.

THS Fans choosing to drive to Razorback Stadium will only have access to Visitor Parking from the Highway 67 entrance.

Here is the home Razorback information:

Razorback fans are encouraged to get their tickets early. AHS vs. THS  ticket sales will be August 31-September 3 from 8AM to 4:30PM and September 4 from 8AM to noon at the Texarkana, Ark., School District Athletic Office, located at 1920 East 18th Street (Razorback Stadium).

All seats are reserved – there are no general admission ticket sales for this game. Ticket prices are $8. AHS student tickets are $4 (Arkansas High Students may purchase student tickets during lunch period only). No tickets will be sold at the gate and the gates will open at 6PM. Stadium rules and regulations will be enforced – no smoking, no sagging and due to AAA rules, air horns are not permitted.

Shuttle service from the AHS student parking lot is free to all ticket holders. All shuttle riders will go through security screening. Razorback fans will need to enter the Home parking lot from 18th Street and Jefferson Avenue. Tiger fans will park in the Visitor-side parking lot and will only have access to the Visitor parking lot from Highway 67. Stadium parking is free.

The community is invited to attend the Razorbacks’ Orange Crush Breakfast and pep rally at Razorback Stadium. Admission is $3 and the gates will open at 7AM. Breakfast will include Orange Crush soda and Tiger Tail donuts. Fun-filled games, activities and a pep rally will be from 8:30-9:30AM. During the pep rally, AHS red line, cheerleaders, color guard, band and drum line will perform.

Gates will open at Razorback Stadium at 6 p.m. with the kickoff at 8PM Friday night.
