The City of Texarkana, Texas, will be hosting a free Small Business Forum next month.

The event  in partnership with the Governor’s Office, the Texas Workforce Commission, and Workforce Solutions of Northeast TexasOctober 26 from 8:00AM until 1:00PM at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center.

Local entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to attend the forum and can register at this website. The event will include complementary breakfast and lunch for attendees. Guests will hear from a variety of local experts as they share their insight and experiences in the world of small business ownership.

“We are very excited to host the Governor’s Small Business Forum in Texarkana,” said Shirley Jaster, interim city manager. “It is an honor to have such a beneficial event here, and we are looking forward to highlighting the resources that Texarkana and the state of Texas has to offer small business owners.”

Keynote speakers include Sonja Hubbard, CEO of EZ-Mart, and Bryan Daniel, Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism. Panel discussions and presentations will cover finance, real estate, intellectual property and employment law.
