Texarkana Texas City Council to Meet Tonight

The Texarkana, Texas City Cuncil will hold their latest meeting tonight at City Hall.The session will open at 6 p.m. with a closed executive session. The meeting will open up to the public by no later than 7 p.m. During the open session, the council will consider and ordinance to cancel the City Election which is scheduled for Saturday May 11th.

City council members in Ward 2, 3, and 5 are running unopposed. The council will also look at their position on relocation of water lines along Highway 82. The public is invited to attend

the open portion of tonight's meeting.
