Now that ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is being hailed as the best movie yet about the God of Thunder, we’re looking back to see where the Thor movies went wrong.

Wonder Woman just had a record-setting opening weekend. While everyone was at the theater watching her, the woman who plays the Amazonian princess, Gal Gadot, got into a back-and-forth on Twitter with the Asgardian God of Thunder over a question comics fans have debated for years: Who would win in a fight, Wonder Woman or Thor?

Thor doesn’t go anywhere without his famous hammer Mjolnir. But did you know the Mjolnir seen in Thor: The Dark World is different than the ones in Thor and The Avengers? It’s 10 percent larger than the first Mjolnir, and it’s design incorporates elements from Thor’s new costume in The Dark World. Tis the season for studios to release holiday-themed videos and e-cards featuring some of your favorite movie characters, and so far we’ve seen animated holiday greeting videos for ‘The Babadook,’ ‘Hotel Transylvania 2,’ and even SpongeBob Squarepants. But this new holiday video from Marvel takes things to a whole other level: it’s a stop-motion short featuring the villainous Thanos, who disguises himself as Santa for his latest evil plan … and then it sort of backfires.

On Tuesday morning Whoopi Goldberg and the hosts of The View announced that Marvel will relaunch Thor this October with a 'worthy' woman brandishing the hammer. Marvel followed that announcement with two more high profile switcheroos on Wednesday night as Entertainment Weekly revealed a new-ish and possibly superior Iron Man, and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada joined comedian Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report to announce that a new guy will take up Captain America's shield. That in itself isn't much of a surprise -- original Cap Steve Rogers has passed on his mantle a few times, before eventually yanking it back. After spending some time in Dimension Z and fighting the Iron Nail and whatnot, he's now too old to Avenge from the front lines. The big reveal is that the new Captain America will be Sam Wilson, the African-American superhero currently known as Falcon.

With Thor: The Dark World now in theatres, Loki takes a moment to ask a group of children a tough question.
