SNL: Zach Galifianakis Kills With His Opening Monologue

Some SNL hosts just feel like they were born to be on that stage and Zach Galifiankis is one of them. Rather than do a traditional monologue, he performed six minutes of his oddball, avant garde stand-up comedy. It was a great reminder that he may be a big movie star now, but he's still one of the great modern comedians.

Last night's 'Weekend Update' featured an eye witness to the recent meteor crash in Russia. In the beginning, Povlatsky (played by 'SNL' cast member Kate McKinnon) showed up to talk merely of the crash, but she ended up sharing even more about the poor quality of life amongst females in her native Mother Russia.
