There’s sad news to report as Gwenda Evans, the mother of U2 guitarist The Edge, has passed away. She died Monday (June 11) after a short illness. The guitarist was said to be surrounded by his family and bandmate Bono.

At the age of 67 Michael 'Flathead' Blanchard from Denver Colorado died from colon cancer, and his family had a memorial service for him last weekend.  The family posted an obituary that 'Flathead' had written himself in the Denver Post, and we think it may be one of the greatest ever!
