July 6, 2011 This last weekend was one of the best "Sparks In The Park" EVER! There was so much for everyone to do... Car Show, Bounce Houses, Climbing Wall, Face Painting, Fun & Games, all of that "fair food", and some fantastic live music on the amphitheater stage, then Texarkana's BEST Fireworks Show!

Police in New York confiscated 5,000 pounds of illegal fireworks so far this year. And on Friday, they blew them all up at once at a police firing range in the Bronx.
