Blood Donors Needed

LifeShare Blood Center is temporarily continuing the antibodies testing for SARS-CoV-2 the virus that causes COVID -19 for all blood donors. The testing is going on now until Friday, July 31st. The test can indicate whether someone has been exposed to COVID-19.

We have a critically low supply of blood in our area and nationwide. If you can donate blood please do! There are two blood drives going on today in the Atlanta Texas area.

LifeShare Blood Center, with the support of several of its hospital partners, is issuing an emergency appeal. Patient care is severely threatened by the inadequate blood supply that the region has been experiencing for several weeks.

It's been a really bad year for the flu, which in turn means it's been a bad few months for blood donations. Blood supplies are at a dangerously low level right now with so many regular donors getting ill. It's time to step up to the plate and make a life-saving donation.
