The fall season is upon us and many folks will venture outside to not only see the changing colors of trees but to enjoy camping outdoors at this wonderful time of the year.

Although there hasn't been an official release from the Arkansas State Parks Department as of yet, reports are coming in about a youngster who found an almost 3 carrot diamond at Crater of Diamonds State Park last Friday, September 1.

You could be the reason for the celebration at Crater of Diamonds State Park in the next coming weeks. The park is getting ready to celebrate a very big milestone in its history.

There is a special Arkansas State Park located between the Ozarks and the Ouachita Mountain ranges. The French discovered it beauty back in the 1700's and it became Arkansas' first state park.  If you have never stayed in the lodge at this park before, then put it on your Arkansas bucket list.

Go back in time this Christmas at Old Washington Historic Park. It's their 'Christmas and Candlelight' event Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14.

Lake Greeson is one of the lakes near here that everyone likes go to when looking for some summertime fun.  Well, the  26th Annual Lake Greeson Days are set for June 19-21 at Daisy State Park. This event will include the annual kids fishing derby as well as a variety of contests, programs, and tours.
