T.I.S.D. Offering Free Meal Program For Kids This Summer

The Texarkana Texas Independent School District is offering their free meal program for kids this Summer.

The Texarkana Independent School District Child Nutrition Department Summer Nutrition Program will provide Breakfast and Lunch at no charge for all children 18 years of age and younger.  Parents and children are encouraged to find a site, show up, eat right and have fun!

Locations, dates and times in Texarkana are as follows:

Highland Park Elementary – 401 West 25^th Street:  June 12 – July 3 (Monday thru Friday).  Breakfast 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.  Lunch 11:15 a.m. – Noon;

Texas Middle School – 2100 College Drive:  June 12 – July 17 (Monday thru Friday).  Breakfast 7:15 – 8:00 a.m.  Lunch 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.  Site closed July 4;

Spring Lake Park Elementary – 4324 Ghio Fish Boulevard: June 12 – August 8 (Monday thru Friday). Breakfast 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. Lunch 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Site closed July 4;

Wake Village Elementary – 400 Wildcat Drive:  June 12 – August 8 (Monday thru Friday).  Breakfast 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.  Lunch 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.  Site closed July 4;

Town North Apartments – 4624 Elizabeth Street: June 12 – August 8 (Monday thru Friday). Lunch 11:00 -11:30 a.m. Site closed July 4;

Paul Laurence Dunbar Early Education Center - 2315 West 10^th Street:  June 12 – August 15 (Monday thru Friday).  Breakfast 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.  Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  Site closed July 4;

OPTIONS Academic Alternative High School – 3201 Lincoln Avenue:  June 16 – July 17 (Monday thru Thursday).  Breakfast 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.  Lunch 11:15 a.m. –          12:15 p.m.  Site closed July 4;

Westlawn Elementary – 410 Westlawn Drive: July 28 – August 8 (Monday thru Friday). Breakfast 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. Lunch 11:15 a.m. – Noon;
