Suspect Pleads Guilty to Bowie County Sheriffs Deputy’s Murder

Tucker Strickland has plead guilty in connection with the death of Bowie County Sheriff's Deputy Sherri Jones.Strickland's guilty plea came as jury selection was to begin today for his trial. Jones was shot to death in the basement of the Bowie County Courthouse in New Boston. The defendent had been taken to the Courthouse from an East Texas jail for a hearing when the deadly incident occurred.
