The former mother-in-law of the man gunned down in a Texarkana car dealership parking lot has now been formally charged, according to Texas-side police.Authorities announced today that 52-year-old Anne Fisher of Texarkana, Texas has been charged with murder and her bond has been set at $1 million in the shooting death of her former son-in-law.

 At approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, Texarkana, Texas Police officers responded to  a shooting call in the 3700 block of Summerhill Road. When the officers arrived at the  scene they found 28-year-old Russell Scott Cain of Texarkana, Texas unresponsive and  suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Cain was transported to Christus Saint Michael  Health System where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses at the scene were able to provide officers with the name and description of the suspect. Officers located the suspect, also of Texarkana, Texas, within five minutes and took her into custody. Fisher was transported to the Bi-State Criminal Justice Center where she was interviewed by detectives.
