Funds raised go into the Trey Varner Benevolent Fund, which was established in 2014 by the family and friends of Trey Varner for the purpose of assisting individuals and organizations with specific needs that cannot be met through traditional methods. Funds are distributed as needed and eligibility is determined by a committee that is appointed by the Varner Family.

Event coordinator Sandy Varner said, "Last year's event was a huge success. Not only did we raise a lot of funds for the Trey Varner Benevolent Fund, we also had a great time. We are adding a new event this year which will be a lot of good old fashioned fun and we hope will also raise a lot of money for the fund."

Trey Varner tragically lost his life in a boating accident that could have been avoided if proper boating safety guidelines had been followed. Please make sure to keep your lake fun safe this summer.
