The Ark-La-Tex Outdoor Expo is coming to the campus at the University of Arkansas in Hope on Feb. 2-3, 2018. Southern rockers 38 Special is set to kick off the event on Friday night at Hempstead Hall.

After more than three decades together, 38 Special will be performing all their classic rock hits including, "Hold On Loosely," "Rockin' Into the Night," "Caught Up in You," "Fantasy Girl," "If I'd Been the One," "Back Where You Belong," "Chain Lightnin'," "Second Chance," "Teacher Teacher" and others. Their many Gold and Platinum Album Awards stand in testament to the endurance of the legendary powerhouse. With album sales in excess of 20 million.

The Ark-La-Tex Outdoor Expo will feature over twenty vendor booths and educational exhibits of interest to all outdoor enthusiasts. Participating vendors will have boats, all-terrain vehicles, tractors, duck and turkey calls, cabin lamps, leather goods, fishing lures, archery equipment, knives, lawn mowers, and even jewelry for those who enjoy the great outdoors.

“This will be our second Expo and we look forward to over twenty vendors with a great variety of merchandise,” said Dolly Henley, director of Hempstead Hall.

Tickets for the 38 Special concert are on sale now at hempsteadhall.com. Tickets range from $20 - $75 and include admission to the Ark-La-Tex Outdoor Expo for February 2-3.

Admission to only the Ark-La-Tex Expo is just $3.00.
