Sebastian Bach is going on a different kind of tour next month.

The former Skid Row frontman has lined up a series of "author events" in support of his upcoming memoir, 18 and Life on Skid Row, which will take him to nine U.S. cities between Dec. 5 and Dec. 17. Most of the stops will land at bookstores, although the final event is scheduled for the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

Fans hoping for a bit of an early peek at 18 and Life prior to its Dec. 6 release can get a look at the complete jacket — and a poster included with the book, depicting Bach in his shirtless, lamé-pantsed '80s splendor — courtesy of Blabbermouth's exclusive premiere. The book is available to pre-order now.

As fans are aware, 18 and Life on Skid Row has been in the works for quite some time. Bach explained the delays leading up to its release earlier this year, promising the end result would be worth the wait. "I have all those archives. I went through them all and there’s just so much in this book because this is the very, very first-ever Skid Row book," he explained. "I know in the future there will be more books on the band Skid Row, but when I go to Barnes & Noble, there’s zero. There’s none. And every other band has a hundred books: Mötley Crüe, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith; every band has 10, 15 books. There’s none on Skid Row. So this is the first one, so I’m going to pack it full of as much info as I can because you only get one chance to make a first impression."
