Sandals Resorts International CEO Adam Stewart has announced plans to expand the world's leading luxury vacation brand with future resorts to be located on the islands of Grand Cayman and Aruba and possibly a location for Mexico in the future.

Stewart discussed the possibilities of the new Caribbean resorts on a recent press night with Island Routes Tours for the 2014 Caribbean Marketplace event in Jamaica. When asked about Mexico being a future site for possible expansion of the Sandals brand, Stewart said,

There is nothing we won't do so long as it makes sense for the brand. But before we even talk about Mexico, there are other islands in the Caribbean that we want to be in first and those would be Aruba and Grand Cayman and some others we are talking about."

Sandals Resorts currently operates luxurious properties in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, the Bahamas, Barbados, and most recently the group opened a property in Grenada with the beautiful Sandals LeSource Grenada Resort & Spa.

Not only is Stewart looking to expand to new locations, but he is also growing the properties they have to offer the very best of the best that the Caribbean has to offer. Among the upgrades planned are over-the-water suites to be added to the Sandals Royal Caribbean and Private Island in Montego Bay, the Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals Barbados, and at the new Sandals LeSource Grenada.

The company also operates premium properties under the brands, Beaches Resorts, Grand Pineapple Resorts, Fowl Cay, and a host of private villas throughout the Caribbean.

Sandals Resorts is the leader in luxury all-inclusive travel, and has been since their beginnings in the early 80's. The brand took the idea of all-inclusive to another level with premium dining, beverages, land and water sports, and SCUBA diving included in your vacation package. Sandals was the first to introduce the swim-up pool bar, the first to provide satellite television for their guests and was the first to introduce the idea of private butlers for the guests of their hotels.
