The Runnin WJ Ranch has been helping special needs children and teens in our area for nearly 20 years, now they need our help as funding is critically low.

The riding season at 'The Ranch' follows the school year.  In fact, according to their website, several area school districts bus special needs children to the Ranch during the school day for riding classes as part of their special needs curriculum.  This riding season, September through May, allows the summer months as a break for horses and riders.

The great thing about this program is that while the kids and teens are having fun riding the horses they also receive some great benefits like the core muscles used during riding help with strength, balance and coordination. Riding these horses also helps with their concentration and thought process not to mention helping with emotions and social skills too.

If you would like to make a donation and help continue this program please visit the  Runnin WJ Ranch website.
