The Texas Department of Public Safety has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of a most wanted alleged sex offender with ties to Northeast Texas.

The reward for 43 year-old Donald Jack Robertson II, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and this month’s featured fugitive, has been increased to $10,000 for information leading to his capture if the tip is received in the month of November. Robertson is wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual assault of a child, and indecency with a child/sexual contact. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

Robertson has ties to Lamar County including Paris in Northeast Texas, as well as the Dallas area and Washington state. Robertson has been wanted since 2011 for allegedly sexually assaulting two children in Lamar County. For updates in the event of his arrest, see his wanted bulletin here.

Robertson is 6' 1", weighs approximately 160 pounds and has a tattoo on his left arm of a fist holding a lightning bolt. Robertson may also be known as “DJ,” and he has an interest in online gaming.

One offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. All calls, texts, emails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.

To be eligible for the cash rewards, there are five different ways to provide anonymous tips:

All tips are anonymous – regardless of how they are submitted.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Sex Offender lists. You can find the current lists – with photos – on the DPS website at here.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives. They are considered armed and dangerous.
