Two big dogs are looking for new homes today for our Provide a Pet a Pad weekly spotlight: Leon and Rosco. Big dogs with big hearts. If you are looking for a great family dog you have hit the jackpot!

Leon is one year old and looks like he is mixed with Boxer and Mastiff. That would make him a Boxmas! The Boxmas loves families and make great dog for one owner as well. They are very loyal dogs who love affection which is just was Leon likes, affection. He is a leaner--likes to lean against your leg when his sits. Leon is playful and lots of personality. He is very friendly and loves to play fetch. Leon is good with other dogs too.

Rosco is less than one year old Great Pyrenees mix. The Great Pyrenees is confident, gentle (especially with children), and affectionate. While territorial and protective of its flock or family when necessary, its general demeanor is of composure and patience and loyalty. It is a strong willed, independent and reserved breed. It is also attentive, quite fearless and loyal to its duties. Rosco is sweet, playful and fun. He is good on a leash. I have a Great Pyrenees that is a wonderful dog and is everything that the description says.

Both dogs would make great family pets. Please share these pets on your Facebook page and help us find homes for the many animals at our shelter.
