The Agent Barry Live United Bowl, a Division II College Bowl game in Texarkana will have a lot of excitement associated with it this year.

Besides a great college football game between two talented teams there will be plenty of added enjoyment for those who attend and participate in  some of the events leading up to the game.

First off, the game itself will be held at newly renovated Razorback Stadium at Noon on Saturday December 2. Gates will open at 10AM. The stadium has a whole new look this year, with new entrances, new concession stands, new restrooms and a Razorback Store.

This year, a total of $5,000 will be given away to lucky ticket holders who are in attendance at the game. The Robert St. John Band will be part of the halftime show along with the marching bands from both invited schools. The St. John band will also perform a concert the night before after the Banquet and Community Pep Rally. That concert will be free to anyone who has a game ticket.

Former Arkansas High and Denver Bronco star, Rod Smith will be the honorary captain at the game, will speak at the Banquet, and host a book signing for his recently published book, entitled The Rod Effect.

The two teams which are selected will be announced at the end of the regular season on November 15.

Remember all proceeds above expenses goes to the local United Way of Greater Texarkana. Tickets are just $10 for adults and $4 for students. It's great family fun and entertainment at a bargain and for a great cause. Let's fill up the stadium!!!
