Political Correctness, AP No Longer Uses “Illegal” When Refering to a Person Illegally in The Country

t’s hard to keep up with always being politically correct! None of us want to offend people but the latest kinda has me puzzled. The Associated Press has changed their writing verbiage as to not offend illegal aliens.

Now they will refer to them as “undocumented” aliens or immigrants. The reasoning behind this? Plain and simple the Associated Press finds the word “illegal” mean and nasty.

But, is it? My husband is from England and believe me he is here legally. I know, because of the lawyer fees and forms and red tape and visits to the immigration office to prove he’s here legally.

What do you think?
