The Pleasant Grove 10-u boys baseball team is in Temple, Texas this week playing in the state tournament.The PG Pirates are led by Head Coach Chad Blain and Assistant Coach Greg Capps. The team has logged 23 wins without a defeat so far this baseball season which began in early April.

The Pirates are in Temple Texas for the Texas Teenage League State tournament. So far, they have won their first two games 10-0 and 9-8. They got some great pitching in game one from Nathaniel Henry. Alex Murphy was the winner in the game two and he also collected three hits along with Sam Bradshaw who added a pair of hits.

The Pirates will play the Whitney Wildcats this evening in a battle of unbeaten teams. The state tournament is a double elimination event and will conclude Friday night. Good Luck to the PG Pirates!!!
