Paul McCartney to Perform at the Grammys

Paul McCartney has been added to the list of performers at the upcoming 54th annual Grammy Awards.  There's no word on exactly what Sir Paul will perform, but his new album of standards, Kisses on the Bottom, is scheduled for a February 7 release, less than a week before the Grammys, so it's not unlikely he'll treat us to a song off that project. McCartney's certainly no stranger to the Grammys.  he's got 14 of the statues to his name, and is this year's MusiCares person of the year.  He's also got yet another Grammy nomination this year: Best Historical Album for Band on the Run. You can see a full list of scheduled Grammy performers at Grammy.com.  The 54th annual Grammy awards take place Sunday night, February 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS.
