September 14, 2011 I dig America's Got Talent because it gives everybody a chance. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. was washing cars 6 months ago, dancing around cars, and singing out loud, even if only to himself, and tonight, he won a MILLION DOLLARS, and gets to headline a show in Vegas... that's cool! This season's finale featured some veteran talents too, including Stevie Wonder, and Def Leppard.
August 10, 2011 Happy birthday Leo Fender - (1909 - 1991), he would have been 102 years old today. Leo invented the electric bass, and put out the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar. Without Fender Telecasters, Stratocasters, and the electric jazz bass... Where would we be?
June 30, 2011 I Don't know if Mileys' stellar career is coming to an end judging from the fact that she is now doing covers, but It looks like Miley Cyrus was serious when she decided to name her latest run of concerts the Gypsy Heart Tour — during a recent Australian show, she pulled out a classic by rock’s reigning gypsy, Stevie Nicks. which I always classified Stevie Nicks in my favorite "Chicks That Rock" Catagory.

STEVIE NICKS will release an album called "In Your Dreams" next Tuesday... but you can check it out early, because the whole thing is streaming at RollingStone.com.
Stevie describes the album as, quote, "my own little 'Rumours'." (That, of course, is a reference to the classic Fleetwood Mac album.)
