Of course, the crowd went wild as they broke into their first song. Then, as they finished their second song, the mics went silent.

We did find out that Paul McCartney is nominated for ‘Best Historical Record’ for the deluxe re-issue of his ‘Band on the Run’. Bruce Springsteen, Sting and Keith Richards all got a nods for Best Boxed Set or Limited Edition Series.

June 18, 2011 E-Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons died Saturday of from complications of a stroke, bandmate Bruce Springsteen said. He was 69 years old.
Clemons "The Big Man", had played sax in Springsteen's E Street Band off and on since 1972.
