Springsteen announces 1st European concert dates also touring US with E Street Band in 2012

Bruce Springsteen has announced the first dates for his European tour with the E Street Band. They’ll play four shows in England next summer.
The dates are June 21 in Sunderland; June 22 in Manchester; June 24 at the Isle of Wight festival; and July 14 at Hard Rock Calling in London

We did find out that Paul McCartney is nominated for ‘Best Historical Record’  for the deluxe re-issue of his ‘Band on the Run’.  Bruce Springsteen, Sting and Keith Richards all  got a nods for Best Boxed Set or Limited Edition Series.

Clarence Clemons Dead at 69

E-Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons died Saturday of from complications of a stroke, bandmate Bruce Springsteen said. He was 69 years old.

Clemons "The Big Man", had played sax in Springsteen's E Street Band off and on since 1972.
