Dine on the Line is this Saturday in downtown Texarkana and even though the actual dinner is sold out there is still plenty of things to do and enjoy.  One word...Oktoberfest!

The fun starts at 4PM with live music by Caroline Joyce, Jase Bryant and Mark Meadows. There will also be a fashion show highlighting local boutiques on the Main Stage starting at 5:30PM.

You will also be able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes provided by local businesses.

The Oktoberfest celebration will give you the opportunity to try some home-brewed beer made by members of the Four States Fermenters. There will also be brews from Pecan Point, Backstory from Sulphur Springs, Red Bone Magic and Diamond Bear from Little Rock. Wristbands may be purchased at the event for $10. You must be over 21 to enter the Oktoberfest tents.

This year, Discovery Place Museum has partnered with Dine on the Line for the Kids’ Corner. For $5 a child, parents can drop off their child inside Discovery Place where they will have fun activities for children 12 and under. Kids’ Corner will be supervised by professional staff members. An adult must sign each child in and out.

General admission to this event is free. So you can walk around shop the vendors and listen to the live music. Oktoberfest wristbands and Kids Corner admission can be purchased the day of the event.

This fundraiser benefits Main Street Texarkana whose mission is to renovate, restore and revitalize downtown Texarkana.
