Hunting for ‘Bigfoot’ Just An Excuse to Drink

This past weekend, hundreds of hunters took to the woods in search of the mythical creature called

"Bigfoot". It won't be shocking to hear that they went home empty-handed.

"Bigfoot" does not exist. But the annual "hunt" (now in its 22nd year) is a great excuse to escape the house and drink some beer. You see, a local tavern sponsors the "hunt", where a designated person dresses up to look like "Bigfoot" and then hides from the others.

This year's winner, Cathleen Dobson, earned $150 and free beers for the rest of the weekend.
