NASCAR driver Danica Patrick has officially filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Paul Hospenthal.

The couple separated two months ago, but Danica made it official that the couple will be getting divorced. According to Sporting News, in her filing Danica stated…

My marriage is irretrievably broken, and there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.”

The couple does have a prenuptial agreement, and neither side will require alimony. The divorce will be final after 60 days.

Patrick has been driving in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for three years, and finished 10th in the point standings for 2012. (If she gets herself a good lawyer, for the first time in her life, she might win something.)
