It appears that Motley Crue's long talked-about farewell tour will be announced soon. And as a bonus to fans, it seems the opening act will be one of their heroes, Alice Cooper.

Eddie Trunk broke the news last night (Jan. 16) on Twitter, with a post that included a picture of a tour poster which had Cooper listed as the "very special guest." (The tweet has since been deleted.)

Blabbermouth is reporting that the tour dates will be announced at a press conference on Jan. 28 in Los Angeles. Above the band will be a banner with the rumored tour slogan, "RIP: All Bad Things Must Come to An End." Later that day, the band will appear on the ABC late-night television program 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' where they will perform on an outdoor stage.

Motley Crue have been hinting about calling it quits since early 2013, delivering one more album and then embarking on a world tour for the next two years.
